About Sunlit Circle
Small, friendly tools for the people you celebrate with.
What it is
Sunlit Circle has four free tools for groups of friends, families, clubs and teams: a Secret Santa generator with households, exclusions and private reveal links, a white elephant randomizer with printable house rules and a steal tracker, a group birthday calendar that downloads as a yearly repeating .ics file, and a group gift split calculator that adds up to the cent.
How it works
Every tool runs in your browser. Draws use your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator, files are made on your device, and nothing you type is sent to a server. There are no accounts, and once a page has loaded it keeps working offline. Lists you build are remembered in your browser's local storage so you can come back to them, and you can clear them at any time.
About the reveal links
Secret Santa links carry each person's match inside the link, after the # sign. That keeps the tool serverless, and it means the match is hidden from a casual glance but not encrypted: anyone with a link could decode it. The Secret Santa page explains this in more detail.
Who runs it
Sunlit Circle is an independent site. It is free to use, shows no ads and has no sponsors.
