Your lists stay in your browser

The draws, calendars and calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type, draw or calculate is sent to us or to anyone else.

What is stored on your device

To save you retyping, the site keeps what you enter in your browser's local storage: the Secret Santa names, households, exclusions, event details and your last draw (including who drew whom); the white elephant players, options, turn order and steal counts; the birthday list and calendar settings; and the group gift people, amounts and paid ticks. It also remembers your colour theme. This data never leaves your device. Use the Start over or Clear buttons on each tool, or clear this site's data in your browser, to remove it.

Secret Santa links

Each private link carries one person's match inside the link, after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to websites, so our server never sees it. The match is scrambled so it does not show at a glance, but it is not encrypted: anyone who has a link could decode it. Share each link only with the person it is for.

Page view counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and never receives what you type, draw or calculate in the tools.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Links to other sites

Links to other websites, including the tools we recommend, are ordinary links. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
